Our tulips have bloomed! They are about 7 inches tall. The flowers are red/orange. The air temperature was very warm and it was very sunny all of the past week. Today it is cold again. It is 38 degrees F outside today and the ground was 40.5! There is light snow/freezing rain falling right now. It is really windy. Today the back rows were warmer than the front rows, but in the past the back rows have always been colder than the front rows. Some of the tulips have closed up this morning because of the precipitation.
