This morning after dismissing my 4th Grade ESL class at 11:45am, I decided to check for aphids in our newly planted Monarch butterfly waystation. While in a squat position checking under leaves for any pesky yellow pests, a sweet little Miss flew in from seemingly nowhere and began to promptly oviposit on almost every single mature and newly planted milkweed plant in our garden. (Will report the eggs tomorrow with my 6th Grade class.) How nice of her to give Cason Lane Academy charge of her children!
