First male rufous of spring 2015 at the feeder this morning. Must have observed him soon after arrival in urgent need of sucrose, as I measured one continuous drink of 55 seconds while resting on the foot stand. Territorial spats occurring at my feeder among this male rufous, a female (or male juvenile?) rufous and two calliope males.
