I live just on the county line between Marion and Johnson counties.
I watch every year for the first Barn Swallow to arrive on my patio to build a nest.
I have had up to three nests in one season on the bottom of the upstairs apartment's deck.
Today was my first Barn Swallow outside my window seemingly waiting for his/her mate.
Though still cold, I know Spring is finally here. YEA!!!
