Tulips EMERGED

Date: 04/21/2015

Number: 1

There were little chunks of ice on top of the tulip patch for a while. Suddenly, boom!, the sun came out and melted the snow and ice. There was nothing there for about a week. Then we saw little reddish/greenish sprouts coming up from the wet. There were three at first, one in one patch and two in another patch. The two were smaller and the other one was slightly bigger. We spotted them on April 21st. Today, April 23rd, they are between two inches and a quarter inch tall. We are looking forward to these beauties blooming in our currently brown yard!!!!!!
