At exactly 3pm MST the first Broadtail made it to my back deck at 7,233 feet in the Vail Valley of the Colorado Rockies. A solo, he has been at the feeder multiple times. He also spent some time in the pine tree looking like he was scoping out either a nesting area or his old stomping ground! Due to late snow and colder temps I didn't expect the guy this early. Time to head to Home Depot for some pansies. Welcome Home my Friends of Joy. Been a long 6 months without you. YAY!
