Hummingbird, Rufous (FIRST)
Sightings report image

Date: 04/24/2015

Number: 1

What a nice surprise to see a male Rufous at my feeder this morning. We usually don't see any Rufous until later in the season when they go back south for the winter. I hope of "local" (Anna's and Costa's) hummers and our newly arrived Black Chinned will let him stay around. It would be great if a female Rufous came in as well or perhaps there will be a hybrid with one of the other three.
