Saw my first Yellow-rumped Warbler and Eastern King bird in the orchard this morning. 40 degrees. Was 15 two days ago. A few tree swallows still flying around. Have not checked the nest boxes for fatalities. Last year we had over 30 dead birds in boxes for freezing weather.
