Our first ruby throated hummingbird of the season appeared at our feeder today, a solitary male. We initially put out two feeders close to three weeks ago, and in the time since, we have had some 80 degree days. I changed the nectar the previous day after noticing that it was turning brown, and the hummer appeared the next day!
