About 7:45 PM, I was in my barn. As soon as I spoke ,it happened to be to a dog, a pair of swallows came zooming into the barn. They did a couple of quick laps around the barn chirping, then went outside but returned once or twice. When I went out to look there was at least one other pair present. It is just getting to be dusk so more might be coming in. I have been keeping records for many years, the 28th or 29th are almost always the date of their return.
