Saw my first monarch egg of the season just now. Have seen just a few adults this season flying around but not finding our bakyard milkweed garden. We have tons of it in bloom here at the house but no takers so far. Luckily a female was able to find it today. She didn't look tattered either making me think she is from the first generation hatched here already rather than a migrant from Mexico.
