Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)
Sightings report image

Date: 04/29/2015

Number: 1

Just had my first truly spring female Monarch. I captured her, took a scotch tape type sample of her abdomen to test for parasites-Ophryocystis elektroscirrha or OE. I marked her wing so as not to recollect from her and set her free. She's forgotten the experience I guess because she's dancing away in my yard now.
