I planted Milkweed last year a little late for the Monarchs, but this year I was pleasantly surprised to find caterpillars! I went out several times a day to check on them. I started out with about 10, but they started disappearing. I decided when I was down to 3 to dig up a Milkweed and move the remaining 3 into a makeshift nursery. A couple days later two are now in the chrysalis stage. I have one more caterpillar to go. Very excited about seeing this for the first time (I am now 55!)I love nature!
