First little male Ruby Throat of the season! Having seen none since I put up the nectar feeders two weeks ago, I went to the garden store this evening and brought home some bright red and hot pink plants which I placed near the feeder. They hadn't been there even ten minutes when the first hummer arrived at 5:30 PM. Welcome back, with more to come soon, I hope.
