All 3 of the hummers I saw seemed to arrive at the same time. I had put my feeders out a couple of weeks earlier, but hadn't noticed any activity until around 10:30 am on the 25th. I was working in the yard, close to one of the feeders when suddenly I heard them buzz by me and all 3 landed on the one feeder. Since then, each one has its' own feeder it guards from the others.
