We had very disappointing tulip results this year. First time in the last 10+ years of participating. We had only about ten tulips emerge. The ones that did emerge look stunted. Of the ten tulips, only one managed to bloom. Our theory is that perhaps the soil was depleted from the pumpkins we had planted in the same bed prior to our tulips. We continue to investigate. Even though our results were not what we wanted, we're still ready to try it again next year! ☺
