A male Rose-breasted Grosbeak came to our feeders this morning. We live in a rural neighborhood, our backyard backs up against a field, near some remaining woods and a creek. A few dead Elms and other trees along a fence line I have a bird feeder station with seed and peanut feeders. Saw the male this morning trying to eat from the peanut feeders but when I put seed in a tray feeder, he switched to that.
