Around 12 noon or so ... Was out putting oranges for the orioles and their jelly feeder when I heard the buzzing of what appeared to be a female hummingbird. I saw her for a split second and then she vanished ... did not see her or another one after that ... I hope it was sort of a scouting hummingbird ...left them plenty of feeders and nectar for them to feed .... Hope to see them next weekend.
I had left the feeders up since last weekend ... as last year they came around the same time ...
