Starting checking Journey North in March for reports of Hummingbirds getting close to Maryland. Put my feeders out April 15th and began watching for them. First female came to the feeder when I got home from work, between 5:30 and 6:00pm on April 28th. Think it was the same one I named Hannah last year. She sat down, looked in the window at me for a few seconds, then took a good long drink and flew off.
