Had the orange feeders up for over a week now in my backyard and just now watched two males sitting on my two orange slice feeders. They may be re-visiting from last year, but impossible to tell. One looked like my prized "perfect specimen" that gave me so many incredible shots last spring over a period of about 3 weeks. They both looked exhausted and may have been contemplating whether or not to move on, since the orange halves were not the freshest. Put out a third feeder, activated the waterfall and changed the oranges in hopes that they will return today. Looking forward to getting better shots of a female since they seem to by more shy. Wish us luck!! The pic is of the beautiful male I took so many shots of last year.
P.S. - Thanks a lot for the great online resource for tracking migration!!
