So far this spring, they seem to like the Lonicera sempervirens var. Major Wheeler (coral honeysuckle), Cuphea ignea var. David Verity (cigar plant), and Kiphofia uvaria (red hot poker) the best. Last fall it was the Tecomaria capensis (Cape honeysuckle) and Hamelia patens (Hummingbird bush). In between they enjoyed the Tecoma stans (Esperanza), Salvia farinacea var. Victoria (mealycup sage), and even Pentas lanceolata (Penta).
