Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/22/2015

Number: 1

On April 22nd, I saw a monarch in my yard. It was very pale so I assumed it was back from Mexico. On April 23rd, I again saw a monarch, possibly the same one. I went to check my native milkweed and found several eggs. They did nothing until yesterday when I went to check them. I have seven cats, and they are eating. I think it took longer for them to emerge because the weather here has been quite cold.
