I was very surprised to see a monarch. It looked a little faded. I thought they would've all headed north by now. I have a couple thistle plants in my yard but I don't see any signs of eggs. I will definitely keep checking. I believe this is the first time I've ever seen a monarch in my yard. What a pleasant an unexpected surprise.
