We have golden currents, plum trees, serviceberry, and store bought lilacs that will soon be planted all blooming, but haven't seen any hummers in the garden. However, I followed your maps and have seen hummers in Missoula, Montana, so put out two feeders. Within an hour, there was a male Calliope hummer feeding. I've seen him regularly since then, put out a third feeder, and are watching for more hummers.
