I had a pair of robins acting up Tuesday. They kept attacking and flying into my patio door and the south and west windows. They were either fighting with their reflections or trying to get my attention. Later in the day, I noticed them checking out our two story deck, looking under the deck and in between the steps and joists. (We needed the two story deck on our early 1900s fixer upper house in order to get furniture and beds upstairs, to tight of a corner and stairwell to go that route.) Anyway, I decided to help out the robins with their nesting troubles. I took a couple old Easter baskets and put them under the deck, in between the joists, to give them a ledge to build their nests. They have been busy and wasted no time. This basket was put up on Tuesday and this picture was taken today, Thursday.
