At about 12:30 pm I was working on my raised planter box that is on the south side of my house. A beautiful, noisy male Broadtail Hummingbird flew up to the the feeder just a few feet away from where I was working. He ate for awhile and then landed on a nearby shrub and stayed for about 5 minutes, chirping, before flying off. Welcome back little ones!
