I wish I had a picture because this male Baltimore Oriole was on my peanut feeder. I could not imagine them eating peanuts but he was. I quickly added orange halves to the feeders around my yard and today saw that some had been pecked. I did not see which bird did it however.

I also heard the call of the Bobolinks April 30 (seems earlier than normal this year) which return every year to my 30 acre hayfield. I do not cut hay until they are gone in July.
