Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/10/2015

Number: 1

I found 9 tiny larva in the center of 9 different milkweed plants this afternoon. They are safe in their nursery now where our storms won't bother them and I can take good care of them. I never did see the monarch butterfly but then I seldom do.

Editor's Note: The presence of larvae means an adult monarch has arrived in this area. Therefore, we are adding this report to the migration map.
