A pair of robins built a nest in the wreath by our front door. We have been able to closely observe them for the last month. Four eggs were laid around 4/14/15, hatched on 4/28/15, and all four jumped out of the nest 5/11/15 as we were watching. We watched them hop/flutter around for a little while, and rescued one from a neighbor boy who had caught it in a box. The parents were watching and chattering the whole time. No sign of them this morning; I suppose we will never know the ultimate fate of "our" robins!
