For the last 3 days I have seen a male ruby throat perching and nectaring from flowers and from our feeders. He is quite bold, remaining perched on a cable wire 15 feet above us even with us in plain sight below. I had seen a female or juvenile not too long ago so this is the first male I have seen this year.
