Flying up at tree level. I don't have a picture because the butterfly was flying up at tree canopy level but I could see it clearly against the sun and it was positively a monarch. This sighting was about a mile from my home. My own milkweed both swamp and common are over a foot high in my garden. I had a number of cats last year in these plants.
