Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 05/11/2015

Number: 1

My nectar had been disappearing from several of my six feeders, since early April. One, we determined, was due to our squirrels constantly shaking the line upon which that feeder hung. (We've moved it to a more stable shepherd's hook)

However, our copper nectar feeder has been showing signs of nectar disappearing... and finally on Monday, May 11th, I saw our first Ruby-throated hummer! I've seen one every day since then.

Great to have them back in Willingboro!!
