Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 05/14/2015

Number: 1

Maintained feeder out ever since April 1st. Only caught a fleeting glimpse of hummingbird flying away today at 5:30pm. May have been feeding from pinch-waist glass feeder (just sugar and water--no red dye or from few (native) coral honeysuckles in bloom. None of the salvias or other flowers are blooming yet and they've a long way to go. It's very exciting for this highly noisy, busy traffic NYC area. Happy hummingbird gardening and watching everybody!
