Hello bird people,Getting ready to rain again! Saw a great blue heron and a sand hill crane fly over my area.Saw them through my binocks. Have both male and female hummers. A jenny wren came and explored my porch this morning, she seemed not to pay the least bit of attention to me. Have scads of yellow warblers in the oak trees. A hermit thrush has been in them for several days. Barn swallows are nesting over at the school. Grackles are making a pest of themselves. RBGB's, both male and female, have come to eat sunflower seeds. Orioles are everywhere. I never know what will turn up in my backyard,It's what keeps me watching.
