I heard the Baltimore Oriole singing high in the trees and it took me a while to locate it. This Oriole was seen at the Elizabeth Hall Wetlands right in Lethbridge and it is a first-of-year bird for me. I have read about other Baltimore Oriole sightings north of here in the Calgary area earlier than this, but don't know if they have been reported on Journey North.
