Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/18/2015

Number: 1

We saw our first monarch today. Our school group spotted it when we were in the prairie.

The monarch we saw was bright. The weather has been very warm (80’s) and humid for the past few days but has turned cool today. High’s only around 50 and very grey today. We have had off and on thunderstorms the past few days. (typical Indiana weather) We have been seeing painted ladies, mourning cloaks, red admirals, sulfur, and cabbage)
