I was checking out some of the plants in Monarch Waystation #1 in mid afternoon when a male monarch zipped through the garden at a high rate of speed. He checked various flower patches but showed no interest in the milkweeds. He, or perhaps another monarch, stopped briefly on a dame's rocket (Hesperis).
