All Other Signs of Spring

Date: 05/18/2015

Number: 1

Possible Adult monarch seen while driving. It didn't seem vibrant in color like usual, so I assume it's faded. I looked at some pictures of other local species, and honestly, I am not sure it was a monarch anymore. The sighting was just too fast to see.

On the day of sighting weather was partly cloudy. In the last week or two mostly sunny with an occasional summer shower/storm. Temp highs in the mid 70's to mid 80's. In the last couple weeks there has been more rain, where as the month prior was very dry with almost no rain.

I am new to identifying milkweed, but I have been informed of a place in town where it grows. I will check to see if there are eggs present.
