First monarch we have seen. Female.
The monarch was bright and new. It has been sunny and warm for the last few days ☀. Around 70°-76° most days. There are some small(ish) milkweed around the house and in prairies and the like. I've looked for eggs but there aren't any (probably because the monarchs just came.)In fact, I actually saw two monarchs yesterday (5/21) and I believe I also saw a Hummingbird. I saw one Yellow Swallowtail and a lot of Red Admiral are flying around. I'm not sure, but I think I saw a Painted Lady as well.
