I saw a monarch while we were at the drive-thru at Culver's. It was a large orange butterfly and it didn't have the erratic flight pattern of some of the other species. My brother then reported seeing a monarch at his music lesson. I checked our milkweed for eggs but there were none. Welcome back to Central Iowa!
