I was not sure where to put this but it was worth sharing. I had a friend bring me a couple of butterfly weed from Flordia. I was lucky to have some hitch hikers on the plants she brought me. I know there are at least 4 or 5 caterpillar on each plant. Not to worry I have enough milkweed already in the garden.
My friend also brought a container with 3 caterpillars and 1 Chrysalis. Today the two large cats are getting ready to form their chrysalis. This will be my first experience hopefully releasing a monarch. Very exciting.
