This is one of the caterpillars that hitch hiked from Florida on a butterfly weed plant.
I moved some of them on to my milkweed as you can see it already found the
blossom . This is the second year for this swamp milkweed.

I still have not seen any monarch in my area but hoping these will give me a start.
But it seems I did not see any monarch until mid June last year.
