I probably saw my first already a few days ago, but could not get close enough to confirm. But on Wednesday, I positively saw the first adult flying cross my yard. Unfortunately, it did not stop to enjoy my garden, but it may come back. Did not see if it was male of female though. I have native plants growing and milkweed is about 1' high, but common milkweed is smaller, but it's growing fast. I expect to have many Monarchs in my yard again this summer, more every year I am hoping, as my plantings grow at my Monarch waystation.
