Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 03/21/2015

Number: 1

On our way home from Mexico, we stopped at the National Butterfly Center in Mission, Texas. It is an outdoors butterfly sanctuary. Native flowers and Tropical Milkweed are in abundance.

We saw half a dozen Monarch butterflies that day, and two plants with several eggs on them.

The volunteers told us that on a very sunny day that week they had seen a dozen Monarchs.

They may be a good source of information for this group. Here is their website.
