First Monarch of the year sighted near the corner of Winn Road and Blanchard Road is Isabella County at approximately 12:15PM. This was the last of five butterfly species sighted this day. This location is adjacent to a site where I found upwards of 40 caterpillars last summer. Later sighted a second Monarch approximately 2 miles east while driving on Blanchard Road.
