Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/28/2015

Number: 1

Not one, but four, Monarchs were spotted within a two hour period (2:30 to 5:30 pm) on a warm sunny day.

All were flying about 10 - 25 feet above ground beneath shade trees in residential sections of Hamilton.

Unable to determine sex, but what a welcome sight.

Lots of flowers for nectaring available, and milkweed in the wild is about 1 foot high.
