Monarch (OTHER Observations)
Sightings report image

Date: 05/31/2015

Number: 1

This chrysalis shows the perfect monarch inside. The monarch came out of the chrysalis around 10:30 a.m. central time. It was very I interesting to watch him come out and pumps its wings. It took about 3 hrs before it showed signs he needed to be released. Once I put him on the flowers it stayed about hour than flew off and landed on the deck and kept opening and closing its wings. After a short period of time he flew away. It was not very warm today maybe only mid 60's.
