Hummingbird, Other Species Sighted

Date: 06/03/2015

Number: 1

I finally have heard the "whirling sound" of our Black-Chinned Hummingbirds wings when they are flying back & forth to our feeders. It was difficult to tell the difference between the Ruby-throat & the Black-Chinned since our feeder is in the shade at the kitchen window. They have been feeding on our "Hot-Lips" Sage, the white colored Sage, "Wendy's- Wish" Salvia and our Hot-pink colored Sage. Mainly feeding early in the mornings & fueling up right before Sunset.
