Three flying monarchs flying rapidly north from the beach area of Seacliff Park 12:00-15:00 after crossing the west basin of Lake Erie were observed.
At least one was a female, but showed only mild interest in the milkweed growing there, continuing the northward migration after circling around the spot with milkweed plants just once.
