Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 06/07/2015

Number: 1

I have seen more monarchs this year than ever in the past 10 years...... because a friend brought some to my yard from her moms house in San Luis Obispo. they ran out of butterfly plants for them to feed on and I had many in my yard going uneaten.
a couple ended up hatching and sticking around for a few weeks
and there was one... then there was two... & so it goes .......
and it's lucky me .. !
do you think they will find this place that they began life and
return to it on another migration ?? I sure hope so....
a Monarch came by today. it's been almost 2 weeks since the other
2 left. I have been raising Asclepias plants ant planting them around here & other houses where I garden .
thanks for all your hard work, I will keep planting too.
